Since its premiere on the club’s 40th anniversary, the play “Und niemals vergessen – Eisern Union” (And Never Forget – Eisern Union), directed by Jörg Steinberg, has touched generations of Union fans. For 20 years, it was a staple of the pre-Christmas season—a ritual that brought the Union family together even outside the stadium. This tradition came to an end in December 2025 with the final performance at Freiheit 15—but not without a fitting finale.

This summer, the play returns—to where Union is at home: the An der Alten Försterei stadium.

Experience the performance on Friday, July 17, in a special atmosphere: Our Eisern Lounge, with a direct view of the stadium, opens at 6:30 p.m. and offers a summer buffet including a beverage package. You’ll enjoy the play itself from your cushioned seats in the main grandstand.
